Twists of Time
Time is the most playful thing in the world. Agree?
It likes to play with people's lives.
Speeding up when you're enjoying yourself and slows down when you wait.
This phenomenon is experienced by everyone (I presume) and noticed by many youngsters.
Well who wouldn't notice it right?XD
Time is one of the things that is permanent in this world. It never disappears when everything else does.
It may give hurt one OR heal one as it goes by slowly.
It can hurt people as it passes by quickly in happy moments. When a person enjoys a moment in their lives, they tend to stay at that status for the rest of their lives. Who doesn't want to be happy anyway? It makes people bitter as time takes something away from them that makes them happy.
This is where the saying "Good things NEVER Last" comes in.
These happy moments will never become permanent in a person's life. There will surely an instance wherein they'll experience hardships and trials in their lives. These hardships makes a person strong and builds up his fortitude.
With the presence of trials in a person's life, time passes by so slowly especially when the person thinks negatively. Thinking about that certain problem distracts a person's attention on the right direction of life. They start to blame certain things, asking why it's happening to them, what they should do and everything.
But the truth is, Time never speeds up nor slows down. It remains at a constant speed.
It's speed changes psychologically depending on a person's point of view in life.
Living positively and enjoying life may speed up time for you, but it makes life good.
Living negatively lengthens time and slows down time.
Its up to you if you want a long life or a good life.
A long life may not be good enough, but a good life is long enough.
Think Positively, Live positively.

End of a short vacation
In college we have something that we call "Sembreak"
It's one of the things that we college student await. It's the time where there's no more tight schedules, no more heavy loads of work, no more paper works, and no more annoying professors (well not all professors are annoying though LOL sorry! XD)
Since there's no classes, we get to stay up as late as we can, sleep anytime we want and go wherever we like! wee! :))
The only thing that limits our actions are our parents. Agree? :))
Usually sembreak lasts for around 2-3 weeks depending on the school decisions. Lucky if the school schedules their sembreaks early and the start of the 2nd semester late...
I'm envious of my friends. It's because they have 3 weeks to spend and me I only got 2 weeks (aww!). Anyway I know I'm still lucky to have one unlike other schools who don't have one XD
Especially for high school students! (These kids tend to act bitterly on college students because of this break)
At first I was very happy that it's finally the start of the break because I have plenty of plans set for this short vacation.
I managed to go shopping with my little sister, have a lot of bonding with my beloved friends and travel a lot LOL!
I got new set of clothes, new pair of pants, pair of shoes, pair of contact lenses (for the very first time!), and even a new hairstyle! :))
Although there are times when I need to go to school for a meeting, to get my grades, enrollment and such I still had fun this vacation.
But actually I spent most of my time in front of the computer, surfing the net LOL! XD
As time passed by, it started to get kinda boring.
Why?
Because the money on my wallet got drained due to shopping and I can't go to malls without money of course. The money I had left was 100 Pesos LOL!
I started to miss my classmates and I thought that if there are no classes, I can't get an allowance!
A popular line from Filipino students:
"Pag may pasok gusto na magbakasyon, pag bakasyon naman gusto ng pumasok"
and I have to agree with this one because it's true!
We students want vacation because of the school works but at the same time we want school days because of the allowance. (Kinda confusing huh? XD)
Well anyway it's just something we need to cope up with. Pretty soon I'll be graduating from college and start working on my own and things will start to become different at that point. So I think I'll enjoy the things I can do as a student.
Because things that we can do as a student is far more different than what we can do when we are already working.
And I realized lately, it's WAAAAAAAAAYYY easier to do school works than to do office works!
SERIOUSLY!

Vanity, A Sin?
Vanity or what we like to say being "Vain" became a popular term among youngsters these days. They tend to indicate people as Vain when someone tend to take plenty of pictures of himself/herself or is very conscious on how he/she looks. People who put stuff on their faces for like everyday. These people are said to be vain.
Vanity is said to be one of the sweetest vices as it pleases yourself emotionally...
Although it's more likely to be more applicable to women. If you thought about Vanity that way then you are mistaken.
Men are known to be more vain than women.
Hard to believe?
ITS TRUE!
Men may not always wear make up. But trust me they do something that surpasses applying make up!
(I know right because I'm a guy and I'm vain LOL!)In the film "The Devil's Advocate" Satan said:
"Vanity is my favorite sin"
When I learned about this I was like O_O
I was very shocked because I became vain when I turned 20...I started taking a lot of pictures of myself, bought new clothes, started to use concealer and became very conscious about my face, my skin and how I look.
So I asked myself, "Am I really that Sinful?"
After asking myself that certain question I did a little reflection.
Is there really something wrong with learning on how to look good?
I mean people these days are very judgmental...They judge you just by looking at you.
And so I thought "Hey I should know how to look good if I'm gonna face the world. I should do something new and break out of my shell."
If you ask me Vanity is not a sin AS LONG AS IT IS STILL AT BAY or within your control.
Too much is bad right?
So a little Vanity in your life is still good.
Just don't let it take over you.
